Fass Ddrp?

Has anyone used that FASS DDRP yet, and if so with what results. My VP44 is being replaced now (warranty for the second time) and I was thinking of upgrading my LP. Only have the Edge Juice and am not planning on any more mods. Was wondering if this pump would be sufficient or should i splurge for the 95 FASS system? Unless there is any other similar pump that would do for me?

Thanks
Mike

It's a good stock HP level replacement. It can handle some mild mods, but I would recommend the bigger brother if you plan on doing anything more than 60+HP over stock.

So if I buy a FASS DDRP is it designed to go in the tank or bolt to the side of the motor?

Hmmm so then if my truck has the dealer conversion on it that put the pump in the tank what do I have to do to get it back up front?

The FASS pump is setup to go on the side of the motor, but it is commonly relocated along the frame rail.

Most dealers did NOT remove the factory bracket on the side of the block. This bracket serves double duty of being a mounting point and covering the hole in the block for a mechanical pump. So, it should still be there.

Cool so I can just tap into the fuel line somewhere between the tank and the VP44. Do these lift pumps push fuel better than pump or visa versa?

Yes, you could do just that. The easiest way to do it is with a relocation kit. That way you get a longer harness and all the parts you need.

As far if it'll work better, I can't say. But we sell a ton of relocation kits to the DDRP guys.
