Fass/airdog
Fass/airdog
Are the FASS system and the AIRDOG system basically the same thing? Do these systems replace the stock lift pump, or do they just help it? If i got a FASS or an AIRDOG, would there be a need for a kit like the Scotty Smartfuel system? Thanks for the help, i am trying to learn more about this so i can decide what to do next
FASS and AirDog are basically the same thing. The father makes the AirDog and the son makes the FASS... not a good family situation.
The FASS comes with the fuel line and wiring setup, don't know about the AirDog. It replaces the whole fuel system filters and all.

Check other posts regarding the Air Dog. They evidently were recently bought out by another company and the Air Dog unit now costs about double the price of the FASS.
As Haulin_in_Dixie said, they're basically the same system so with the extreme price increase on the Air Dog,,,, the FASS is the obvious choice at present.
Another option would be the RASP. Costs a bit more than FASS but it's completely mechanical. No electric motor. It uses your stock lift pump as a back up. If I had the extra cash at the time, I would have gone with the RASP myself.
