Just got the fass 2 installed this morning. It's a nice set-up, kit comes with pretty much everything you need, Jason did buy an elbow fitting to replace the straight on the pump fitting for the hose going back into the tank due to the limited space on the swb, so the line would not rub against the sheet metal.
My gauge only reads up to 16 psi, (got the 150 gph one}so it reads max except on take off with comp on 5x5 got it down to 14 for a split second then back up it went.
Hope this will last me, tired of the o&ms going for only a year or so.

 

What is the difference between fass 1 and fass 2?

 

FASS I has its own filter and water separator, FASS II is stand alone fuel pump. Both are mounted back by the fuel tank. FASS I is plumbed directly to the VP44, FASS II utilizes the factory fuel filter, to which it is plumbed. From what I have read, pumps seem to be similarly constructed with the filters being the deciding difference.

No filter set up on the Fass II. I think it runs a couple of hundred$$ cheaper. You get the pump along with lines & wireing & you use the stock filter & heating.
