EZ question

Allrighty,what does it take for an EZ from 99-00 to work on an '01?

I believe you need a different data connector, no experience. But the 99-01 trucks have a 3 ping data port plug sorta like a computer power cable, 3 pins in a triangle the 01.5 -02 have a flat 3 pin configuration.

I could be wrong though.

As I recall the 98.5-00 are a different voltage than the 01-02 I have an adaptor for my ez I have from an 02 to fit on my 01. There are no such adaptors for 00->01.

I have a chance at a EZ for cheap. Owner says it is for 99-02. I know there are differences, just trying to figure out what they are.

Looking at ur sig., I believe you need one for an 02. The EZ will work on 01 or 02 WITH an adapter. 98.5-00 take a different map sensor plug. Ask him what the part# on the box is then look it up on Edge's website to see if it will fit your application.
