My friend has a 99 So Quad Cab with auto trans, EZ, 4" exhaust and air upgrades. He bought the truck used and said it seem to be lacking in power. I looked at his EZ and found the jumper on the right hand set of pins and we moved it to the left set of pins. He said that doing that didn't change anything. Truck still feels the same as far as power goes. I told him to take the EZ out of the truck and if there isn't a loss of power the unit might be bad. I have an EZ in my 01 HO with six speed and there is a big difference between the high setting and the low. What do ya think?

Check his fuel pressure. It might be low.
