exhaust recomendations
Re:exhaust recomendations
I have the same setup as FishCop. If you live in the country people will just think it is a tractor going by. Was hunting at a friend's place and when I came out of the woods and around the field at his house his wife came out to see "who was driving a big tractor around."

You will find yourself rolling down the window to listen as you go through tunnels and along noise walls ;D

And wait until you get it under load ;D ;D ;D

It's straight through and sounds great. It's a long story how I ended up with Banks, but it's very pricey and I'll never buy Banks again it's to pricey. It is a good product but others will do the same for less.
I have no regrets for straight piping my truck, I get a smile every time I drive.

: Eddie : 8)
I got the Banks stainless 4" Monster Exhaust because it was the cheapest 4" stainless system available. It's good quality and easy to install. No extra hangers or adapters. It bolted on without a problem. It is also constant diameter tubing, not mandrel bent with narrowing at the bends. I paid $593.10 for the complete system. The ATS stainless system was $835.00.

Gary
Gary;
The Banks is very good quality for sure, but I had some probs. with their shipping and then I had to cut pipes and the hangers still didn't line up exactly.
I've also got the Banks brake, The downpipe came with it.
After deducting that and the muff. I ended up with about $420 in it. I just had a bad experience with them and then they try to make it where you can't interchange with other products.

: Eddie : 8)
Sorry you had so many problems. Mine bolted right up. There were moments when I was wondering if it was gonna fit but it all fell into place.

Re:exhaust recomendations
I ran both of mine straight and didn't have any trouble loved the sound ;D. If your looking for stacks you might try some of the big truck places.
Re:exhaust recomendations
thanks for all the posts ,fellas it sounds like i am going to run a single 4 inch with a 5 inch tip. i bought a diamond tread tool box and i am going to keep my bed cover and so there wont be 2 much room for stacks. if any body else has any more input, TYPE ON MAN!!! ;D
Re:exhaust recomendations
i also have the jre 4in exaust. they sound better after 5-6k mine has been under the truck since 7/99 and it still looks like new. as they age they do start to sound like an old farm tractor or a firetruck. ;D
