Hi all I am going to set the timing on my truck what do you all suggest it is a 95 auto.

 

I've heard that anything above about 16 is asking for trouble. Then again, that was from folks not certified as Cummins technicians. I was looking at bumping my timing up to about 15 or 15.5* BDTC to get a little better economy. Maybe there's someone here who knows for sure what the repercussions of going beyond that are. (gaskets, etc.)
