I have a 03 305/555 quad SB. The muffler has rusted out and the boss has given me the go ahead to order a new system. Truck currently has a quad xlliraider race, original version and an AFE drop in filter with a swiss cheesed air box. EGTs are okay on the 60 hp setting, but beyond that they get a little high.

Was wondering what systems offer best value, sound(minmal drone), and fit. I was also wondering about alum vs t304 or 409 stainless. If its worth the extra cost.

 

When I had the muffler replaced on mine I went with the 4" MBRP replacement.
I dont have any drone that my DW has complained about, it sounds nice and healthy.

geno's muffler eliminator is quickest, easiest, cheapest way to go.
