Hey all you straight-pipe folks.....<br><br>Are any of ya'll running 3-inch where you just slapped a pipe in place of the cat and muffler? How is the sound compared to a 4-inch pipe? I was thinking about it and one friend of mine said the 3-inch sounded too raspy and needed to be at least 4-in or more for straight. What are ya'lls thoughts?

 

i had mine replaced with a 3&quot; piece and it sounded great. i now have an entire 4&quot; exhaust from rip at www.sourceautomotive.biz and must say it is well worth the money to go with a full 4&quot; system. much better sound in my opinion and cooler egt's. if you're considering a 4&quot; system rip can't be beat!!! and customer service is beyond compare!!!!

 

i had a 3&quot; straight pipe before i got pulled over. it's a lot more rapsy than the 4&quot; systems in my opinion. the 4&quot; sounds waaaaaay better.<br><br>Tom

 

I got 3&quot; straight pipe the 4&quot; does sound better but i tell you for a full 4&quot; is like 300 dollars i have 30 dollars in my system and sounds pretty sweet!!! I will eventually go 4&quot; but i always get compliments on the 3incher!! I would recomend doing it i give it 2 thumbs up
