electrical or mechanical FP gauge

i am getting ready to order gauges. i am looking at the autometer z-series gauges. my question is for the fuel pressure gauge i was told to get the electrical one..well i just about fell out of my seat when i saw the price...do you think i will be ok with the mechanical gauge or should i just spend the extra loot and get the electrical one....and am i going to need anything special to hook em up that does not come with the gauges?

I think if you look on here MOST all of us use the mechanical, some use a isolater, and some put the fuel in the cab . Its what ever you fill good with

MECHANICAL...way more accurate and dependable...IMO. the liquid, whether it's antifreeze or fuel, does not bother me, it's up to you. whatever is in your comfort zone as far as that subject and the price as well.

but like i said, to me, the mechanical is way more dependable and as you already know, less expensive.

do a search on here and there's all sorts of info on them.
