The truck is a 99 1-ton 5spd What would be some issues be with 275's and 4in exhaust and nothing else done to it, while pulling a 32' slant. I was thinking heat and maybe fuel psi. but I dont know. I know someone will say get guages so lets just get that out of the way.

 

I run the EZ/275 combo with a 4". Towing heavy in the summer over the mountain passes will make you it a little toasty but nothing you can't drive around, ease up or drop it to fourth.

 

might want a boost fooler with the 275's otherwise you'll over boost and the ECM will trigger it to defuel as a result.

the boost fooler will also allow you to have the boost to stay cool.

 

Thanks, no hills here to speak of so it ought to be ok. the injectors were free and run real good. so no real isues with fuel psi?

 

fuel pressure is always an issue, stock or BOMBed. 275's shouldnt put a huge strain on the stock system, but that doesnt mean the stock system is OK.
