Mounted in the exhaust manifold is more accurate. What are your temps?

some people will do reading post or pre turbo. most do pre turbo to know what heat is coming right out of the manifold. aftermarket manifolds usually have a pre made bung. other wise I did dead center on mine. wire tapping in easy terms is going into the vp (injection pump) and your performance box is controlling your injection pump. based on fuel rpm boost etc. pending what box. some boxes dont tap and they max at around 65ish I think HP and tapped boxes pending other mods with the truck will be from 65ish to up to 120ish. hope this helps alittle more. all depends on the box.

Hey thanks alot. It helped. Mine is the Comp Box. i believe it is tapped via the MAP Sensor? It says it adds 120HP. Not sure how true those numbers are. it sure feels like it on the high settings

the Edge comp ties into the map sensor, can bus, and pump wire. it taps the pump wire via scotch lock or the better way is with a stealth cover. look for a single wire running up the the pump.

levibeardslee, what temps are you running cruising, WOT, etc? Also, what mods do you have on the truck?
