EGT Issues

I am reading all of these posts regarding EGT's going high after pump mods. Are these just happening when towing or flooring the pedal? Is there any fear in having my EGT's go to high with the pump mods I have listed but driving normal (65ish on the highway, nothing crazy on the acceleration, unloaded) I am waiting for my Pyro and boost gauges (on order) and am driving conservativley, but don't want to melt the engine.

From what you've said, I'm sure your EGTs are fine. To get them up high, you need to tow, have a heavy foot, or really load the engine down.

KEEP YOUR FOOT OUT OF IT FOR ANY LONG MOMENTS!

non intercooled truck take better advantage of the fuel then intercooled trucks!
I have less mod's then you, and EGT'S are a problem if i keep my foot in it!!!!
