Which EDM's...or just stick to 275's

...I had thought that I would go with Mach 2's but then started thinking about some instant gratification and buying an EZ and then adding Mach 1.5's later.

A buddy of mine suggested I stick to the EZ and 275's for several reasons: the 275's are cheap, the additional timing with the EZ will lower EGT's and increase fuel mileage. He is running a 99 similar to my 01 except he has the auto with valve body and tc. He has the equivalent of DD2's, and an EZ piggybacked on a Comp so his truck is no slouch for a street truck.

I want a quieter and smoother running motor, more low end, better economy on the highway and would prefer to use the stock turbo. I have boost and egt gauges, will add a fuel pressure gauge, 4" exhaust and relocate the stock lift pump to the back.

My 99 smoked the clutch the first time I nailed it with the 275's and 3 button Edge so I removed the injectors and was quite happy with the Edge alone. It dynoed 282/495 but I would not mind a little over 300.

Sooooo.........EZ and Mach 1, 1.5, 2 or just Mach 2's alone?

Hmm, may be a 3 button Edge since we bought them at the same time.

I'd stick with the 275's unless you're going to go to 100hp+ injectors.

The mach 1.5s are th best mpg injector anywhere, period. I'd go with the 1.5s or 2s and a box (TST).
