I have to take off my box and all of the wiring to send back for a new one. If I but the banjo bolt back in, and put a bolt in the exhaust, will I be able to drive even though my pump wire is exposed? Can I put tape on it untill tomorrow when I get the new one?

Also when i put the new one back in, is it possible to put a stealth cover on even after I have tapped the wire? I am not worried about warranty I just don't want to worry about having an opened up wire.
