Edge Juice with Attitude
Hi I just installed an edge juice with the attitude monitor. The pics are in my gallery. Check out the installation and let me know what you think. Now when i installed it I didnt tap the pump. Can this damage anything? In the book it said you just wont have full power. The thing has so much more power! Do i risk ruining the pump if i tap it? My buddy says some pumps dont hold up. Thanx

There wouldn't be any damage. It just functions like an EZ, although it seems to fuel real hard on the bottom. Pulls harder off the bottom then my VanAaken and way harder on top. I didn't tap mine because I have warranty till July. But once the warranty goes, I'm tapping it.
Also, if you tap it, keep an eye on EGTs and the tranny. With the HY-35 EGTs will soar and the tranny won't like it either.
Your mounting location looks difficult to read.
I really like mine on the column, easy to read along with stock gauges.

If you think it has power now wait until you tap the wire and can use the other levels. I havent heard much about this lately(last few years) but when the comps first came out long ago there seemed to be some people who had pumps fail shortly thereafter. Seems to me I remember that it was more related to the earlier 24 valve 98.5-99 years. Also if memory serves me correctly in 2000 model year they changed something in the VP's and it wasnt much of a problem after that (unless it is already on its way out).

I installed my Attitude where the trip computer would go. It works well at night and on cloudy days but as we get into summer I'm finding it hard to see on the real bright days. I'm going to fab up a swivel joint for it next time home so I can aim it towards the driver.
