I’m thinking about getting the edge comp but was wondering will it hurt my mileage or will I gain any? And what numbers are you seeing? Right now with stock I'm getting 18-19mpg...I’m not going to be hooking the pump wire up until I get some tranny upgrades.. Since I still have the stock auto…

 

Won't hurt your mileage, unless you can't stop playing with the added power.

Some report added mileage...some don't. I know of no one that lost any mpg.

Getting 18-19 mpg tells me you drive sensibly...as it is a little about average for stock auto.

I get 17.3 city.....18.7 hwy.....probably averaging 8,000 lbs. When my truck was new to me (13,000 miles) and stock, the best I ever got was 16.9 mpg

i have 18.7 as my average with my edge comp 5x5 and i drive around the city most of the time....i was 18.3 when it was turned off a few weeks ago when i needed to reflash it since it was erroring out.....

 

i think i've noticed a slight increase. when my foot's not in the throttle, i'm at 65 MPH with the cruise on. probably no more than a 1-2 MPG gain. i was getting about 15 MPG before the box babying the throttle...i haven't ran enough fuel through it to make any educated claims as to whether the comp adds and fuel mileage...but like i said, it LOOKS like it's going to help.
