edge ez too much?

Well I think by thursday my truck will be at 100000mi. Of course out of warranty. So my question is how much more can my stock transmission handle before meltdown? I just got my truck back from dealer. new valve body and solenoins in tranny also new lift pump. let the bombing begin

what do you do with the truck? tow? how much weight? daily drive? race? offroad?

utilize the search function, there is a lot of information about these transmissions on what they can take and how to make them better.

"much more to come" is what is says at the bottom of your sig. do it right the first time and get the Edge Comp, but dont pierce the wire until you are ready for it.

Pat

ps- even though you have a pusher pump, i would still consider a fuel pressure gauge.

Don't do much towing 22' ski boat in summer time. I drive it around 120 miles round trip to and from work. race around sometimes. off road on my annual hunting trips.

Your stock auto in good working order will handle the EZ just fine......but the TC won't handle much more than an EZ when towing.

I agree with pgilles, skip the EZ and just get the Comp.....much more power and adjustability for not much more money......run it in EZ mode until you are ready for more power.

Imler does great work. Great guys to pick brains, too. I've watched a couple of trucks tuned by Ken Imler's shop put down some NICE numbers on the dyno.
