I've been using an Attitude with A2 for a few months and really like it. Because I have to hook up a trailer by myself fairly often, I would like a backup camera which Edge does offer for the A2 at a not-cheap price of $200. The A2 has a standard RCA connector so I was wondering if a person could use pretty much any cheap backup camera which uses an RCA connector or does it HAVE to be the one from Edge?

if the camera is externally powered then line-out (RCA yellow) should work

I had the A2 with backup camera, didn't particularly care for it, I had problems with moisture getting under the lens. I would try a cheapo model and see if you like it. The edge camera, got its power from the 4way trailer plug under the bumper and then a single rca cable from camera to the A2, so I would think any camera would work.

I LOVE my Swift Hitch!

This wireless camera is great for hitching up AND I can position the camera behind the trailer to see exactly when to stop when backing the toyhauler into my parking spot 2" from the block fence. My girlfriend loves this thing more than me because now she doesn't have to help me anymore.

Well worth the $300 hands down!
