I am looking for an extra ecm and was wondering if any ecm from 98-02 will work or if I need a certain part number.

They used to had for quite cheap on Ebay, but with the Mad ECM, the price skyrocketed and supplies have dwindled.

Not sure what years are compatible with what years though.

Depending on what year you truck is. 98.5 to 01. and 01.5 to 02 I think that the breaking point is the cam/crank engine or just cam sensor motors. The motor well run but the dash won't show any oil pressure. and a check engine light on from missing crank sensor. They really dont go out offten I will do one or two a year.
