Eagle wheels

Is anybody running these wheels?
American Eagle sytle #114

I am considering them with 315s on a bone stock truck.

Will they fit? The offset seems to be right. I am willing to accept a little rub.

Thanks.

How wide are they, and what's the backspacing?

Man I thought that you would guess that.

And her dimmensions are:

36 26 36, err I mean

18x9.5; Chrome; 8 on 6.5; +22 mm; 6; 3420 lbs

and that refers to: size, finish, bolt pattern, back space, off set, load rating

Thanks phox

I don't think you'll be able to fit those on a stock truck with "a little rub".

I put 16X10 inch wheels with 315/75R16 tires on mine with a 2 inch leveling spacer,
and had fender destroying, tire scarring rub.
Hence, I now have the 4.5" lift kit, and can still get mine to rub on the inside rear of the fender with a good stuff. (turning and compressing at the same time)

9.5 inches wide might (possibley, no guarantees) work on a truck with a leveling kit maybe.

The 315's for the 17 inch wheel are a wee bit shorter than the 16 inch wheel,
it would be safe to assume that an 18 inch 315 would be a wee bit shorter as well,
so that increases the possibility that they would work with the leveling kit.

I was hoping for more positive news, now I will not be able to sleep tonight. Bummer.
I do not realy want to increase the height of the truck. You see when the time comes to swap tires, well tires are tires, the wheels maybe I could sneak by as necessary, but if I lift the truck, the CEO/Finance minister will, lets just say disapprove. She is kinda short and does not like to climb, and I do like having her on long trips.

Not sure if they are available for the 18 inch rim, but you could go with a 305 or 295,
still bigger rubber than stock.

OK,lets see what are the posibilities here:

When it rubbs, where does it do it, I mean what part rubbs, inside or outside, against the fender or suspension? I am thinking, if I go and add syrofoam blocks to simulate the bigger tires, that could shed some more light on this no?

Thanks a lot for your patience Phox

35 inch tires on stock rims will rub the control arm, this is the inside of the tire rubbing.

35 inch tires on 9-10 inch rims will rub the rear inside of the front fender while turning,
right where front splash guards would mount, or if you don't have splashguards, where the plastic inner liner meets the sheetmetal.
This would be the outside edge of the tread rubbing.

99% of aftermarket rims have less backspacing than the stock wheels, thus the different point of rub.

Mine are 4.5 inches compared to the 6.5 inches on the stock wheel.
This is backspacing, not offset, two different measurements.

I don't think 22mm is the backspace of those wheels, I went and checked your link, and it looks like they are indeed 6 inch backspace.
(If that's what BSM means, there wasn't a legend)

If that's the case, then you'd most likely have a little rub on the control arm

I think the only way to know for sure is visit a friendly tire shop and let you try on that size of wheel, and the size of tire you want.
