does any one know of any one using the free spin front hub kit from dyna trac? It sounds like they have a really good sales pitch to me. Very costly though, and does my front axle spin all the time in 2wd? I never looked(probably cuz I'm always the driver).my truck is a 1998 12v auto 4x4. any info would be appreciated as always

 

your axle shafts and spider gears spin all the time , but your carrier/ring gear, pinion and front drive shaft do not.

 

This dynatrac kit is more advantageous for trucks like mine that don't have the Central Axle Disconnect (CAD).

On trucks like mine, built after 1 Jan 02, EVERYTHING in the front axle turns all the time-- gears, driveshaft, etc...

Of course, it pops in and out of 4x4 quite eagerly as a result, but it kills MPG.



I've read (on other forums) of guys picking up 3mpg with this kit on a truck like mine...
