DSS pricing

Anyone know of the best prices on a DSS? The soildsteel unit is $209, $$$ is tight with the price of fuel, my 99 4WD diesel is in the shop today gettin a new steering shaft installed. With 209k miles on the clock, she's needin some attention and I don't like the "drunk driving" steering wander effect. Hate to get pulled over and try blammin it on the front end ain't right.

Dont think you are going to do much better, I just gave I think 229 +- for mine. Sure made a heck of a difference though. Now I just need to find a good deal on shocks.

PSC has the best price I've ever seen on them.

The performance steering box company. I was trying not to violate any DTR rules. Hopefully it won't be a big deal. I don't have any affiliation with them, just stumbled across their DSS pricing while looking at steering boxes. Here is the link: http://www.pscmotorsports.com/produc...products_id=90

Much cheaper than what I paid for mine.

Have you tried calling out to Enterprise Engine Performance?.
They are a Solid Steel Dealership and stock all of their parts.
While I understand that money is tight and fuel costs are rising,IMO there is no cost one can put on safety and these parts are the best bang for your buck.IF you ever get a chance to drive someones truck that has done them already you would not question price and would just do the work, trust me on this.Hands down, the Solid Steel parts re the best mods one can do to their second generation truck, especially the 3rd gen trac bar kit........Andy

It looks like the PSC is a rip off of the DSS. Hence the large price difference. But hey, as long as it works. Gotta love competition.....

Thanks guys, still waiting to get the truck back from the shop. But the DSS is definitely on the "Must Do" list. The kid can go without shoes...it's summer.

I built my own I think I had about12 bucks in it for the square tubing the rest including the bearing was scarp from work. It was a very simple project.
