drop in air filter
i have a K&N air filter with about 40k miles on it and i want to replace it with a drop in paper filter. don't want to do any modifactions, just want a good filter that will drop into the stock airbox. i liked the K&N but want to try a paper filter. for you folks with the knowledge how about giving me some recommendations. i have a four inch exhaust pipe.

Drop in air filter
WE do not have the paper filters, but do stock 2-stage foam filters that fit intot he factory air box. These foam UNI filters flow more than the paper ones while stopping more dirt. They are also washable.
The paper Napa Gold filters made by Wix are a good filter. I'll warn you though, you won't like the difference going from a free flowing filter to a restrictive paper one. I install a paper filters while waiting for my K&Ns to dry after servicing, can't wait to get them off.
True that infidel. When you reduce your air flow by 300% (as K&N claims that you get up to 300% better air flow w/ their product) you WILL be able to notice the difference. The only pro to a paper filter is that they catch more dirt than the K&N (can't remember the exact specs)
