Drilled and Slotted?
I tried the ceramic pads, heavy duty towing pads 3 different sets of pads in 2 years, none warn out I was just tired of the noise and poor response. I bought the cheap set of OEM pads from checker auto, threw away the clips and they are the best brakes this truck has ever had, quiet and very responsive, time will tell ware wise but at $35 I'll do this twice a year if I have too.
I know your talking disks $$ but you might check the OEM pads, I read your sig and 98 so drum rear. You might just need some pads and an adjustment of the star wheel in the rears.
Good luck.

I have ebc rotors and like them. I tow quite a bit and they seem to dissapate heat well. I also had there new yellow pads that supossed to be made for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks that tow but i did not like them they squeaked and got mushy when hot. so i threw on a set of mid grade pads with the ebc rotors and it seems to be a lot better.
