went back to strip yesterday. looks like 1/2 ton has a tuning or engine problem. it is not near as quick as i thought it would be. did run 90 tow truck it did a best of 9.65. stock duramax did a 10.86. i am proud of my 14 year old cummins. ps 1/8 mi.

 

 

stock duramax did a 10.86 ? whos foolin who they are fast but not that fast without work . i drove several and boosted they do fly but stock they are not that fast.

 

not fooling anyone.....looks like it was 1/8 mile not 1/4.

 

i have duramax et slip in hand 10.886 against my 9.098. lady looked like she was sunday driving

 

that looks about right jughead,the duramaxs ive seen stock are about the same.as for being modded,you chip one ,itll go in the high 9`s from what ive seen.hey , a 9 second tow truck aint to shabby

 

My mom's 03 Dmax with the Allison will flat out run. I have a feeling it would beat my truck even when I had the Comp on. A 4 wheel launch with that thing is just sick. It sets ya back in the seat almost as hard as my dad's vette does from the line (it's a little trickier to launch a 6 speed with bald tires ). I can't wait to gut the cat on it and see how it runs. It's running good with just a 4" straight through muffler.
