You are going to need a built transmission, tighter TC to get into the 13s with your mods. My transmission/tc combination with tc lockup switch was worth at least 1 sec in the 1/4 if not more.

Yeah, you need a tranny. I am in the mid 14's at 97 mph with my mods, and the tranny is what's holding me back.
Get ready to dump some money in it... speed is expensive!

well low 14s with a 8000lbs truck dont seem to shabby to me. What did it do stock? or did you try it. I have no help for you but am curious at how you launch it. I have not been to a track but have tried it a bit on the street and I have alot of lag before the real power takes over. I just feel like any good times I might get would be really tainted by a bad take off. Also do you run in 4wheel drive for traction?

Gears have a lot to do with it, and the boosted launch. Gotta be careful with the boost off the line, stuff will come apart. I launched in 2wd, my tires stick pretty good.

I am running a 13.309 with quad x2 race stacker and smarty beta 4.4 sw#9 and tq lock up switch helps alot probably .4-.5 seconds off your e/t. This leaving in 4 high at 10-15lbs of boost. You definetly have high-mid 13s in that truck.

I get the why does this thing shift like crud all the time from the old lady but, she's not convinced enought that I need an aftermarket trans. and need to spend 5k on parts for it. Her suggestion is its under warranty take it back to the dealer and get it fixed .

I am running the new x2 from quadzilla on lvl 5 pressure only with smarty on sw #9 duration and timing only. Heres the link for a lockup switch and this will help to prolong the life of your stock trans.

Fastest 4wd in the country is still running a stock transfer case in their truck. But it is a 2nd gen. I have read that the nadp truck has broke a transfer case or two though.

A tighter torque converter will help a lot and so will a mystery switch or some kind of lock up controller. With the ATS Co-pilot I could get my tranny to lock in 2nd gear and keep it floored through all the shifts. Then a week later my stock tranny with over 100k on it started slipping in third. I wasn't too suprised.
I'd bet you could drop a second off your E.T.s with those changes.
