FWIW - The new (Sept, 2009) ADR3000 tune and the new Comp tune sure don't feel the same on the Hwy. And if you check the setting under 'custom tuning', they sure aren't close. Hard to believe they show the same on the dyno... unless the test truck was over fueled on all runs?

Also, put about 400 miles on yesterday...all hwy, and all w/o Smarty and with ADR on 3000 tune.... PL05.
In addition to cruise control being a dream w/o Smarty, I noticed much less smoke and more than enough acceleration when needed.
Filled up this AM and got 1 mpg better than I average with Smarty/Adrenaline stack!!

One more thing to note, is the torq tune will only give you 2400us of pump stretch if its the base tune. If you manually tune, the pump stretch stops at 2200. If you load it, and save it to T1 or T2 it will automatically drop down to 2200, but if its loaded as a default you will have 2400 for pump stretch.

So you should save the torque tune as the factory tune to get the 2400 pump stretch?

Yea. If you save it as T1 or T2 it drops down to 2200, custom tuning will only let you turn it as high as 2200. But if you load it and look at tuning parameters it will say 2400us.

Thanks. I know there is more left in the Adrenaline, but I only had one shot at it.

Yeah that's kinda crummy. Are you going to try and squeeze some more out of it, or wait a bit and just run it as is?

I usually only dyno once a year for fun. There is now a dyno very close to home so, we will probably try again next spring.

I just checked out that shop's website. Looks like a nice place. I may have to check it out sometime. Prices are a little steep compared to the last 2 times I've been on a mobile dyno, but I've seen them higher.

Did it have any trouble loading up your truck. Were you seeing full boost compared to the street or sled? And did you use high gear?

Congratulations on the good numbers.

Yeah, I ran 12 times trying different things to get loaded. In the end, we had to ride my foot breaks to get it spooled to full boost. I hit 57psi & I see 62 on the street. I ran in 5th gear [nv4500]. I just turned the ADR on PL10 & dynoed, with some tuning, I know I can get another 30hp out of it easy.

what your egt's like during the pull? Nice numbers. Try a set of twins and see how much your power/torque goes up by.
