Double Disk Clutch?

Thinking of a new clutch explain the double disk clutches and which should i be looking at for daily driving an pulling heavy loads upwards of 35,000-40,000 lbs.

How about a peterbilt.

Otherwise, calling south bend clutch, and explaining what you wish to do, would be a huge step in the right ( wrong ) direction. They make a quality product, and as someone who has installed several of their single disc units, I have no problem at all recommending them.

But, like I said in my first sentence, you want to haul loads like that, buy a truck built to haul them, and do it safely. It's not just someone else's family out there, yours is too.

The dd is noisy, slow shifting, expensive, stiff pedeled, and hard on trannys, (I have one and like it), BUT if you sled pull you have to have one, If your not, get their single its nicer every day driving and will hold 500 rwh. IMO
