One thing to keep in mind with the 4's is that you may not have quite enough turbo to keep them happy, although you've got a decent sized housing, which will help.

Turbo, Schmurbo, I need some fuel! How do I know this? 1) EGT is under control, 2) where's the smoke? 3) clutch is still holding-- a real problem.
Seriously, I want to push streetability with a large injector, box off. So here's my reasoning: DD2 plus EZ (on most aggressive, is still easily controllable smoke. Now disconnect the EZ, you can run a DD3 and easily control the smoke. Now step to EDM, and you can go Mach 4, and control the smoke.
Don't you just love the way I do math??

Banshee,
I did some experimenting on Sept. 30 at Beech Bend Dragway, my only time to go to a 1/4 mile dragstrip. I usually run 1/8th mile strips around here.
I had 2 runs with my TST PM3 Comp. on #9 and 2 runs with my TST on #7. My 2 times on #9 were 13.21 @101.35 mph and 13.28 @ 101.13 mph. My 2 runs on #7 were 13.16 @ 100.45 mph and 13.19 @ 100.45. This tells me 2 things, I run better times on #7 and better speeds on #9. The next time you go to the strip you might try this. I have posted my slips to show the comparisons.

Hmmmm, this tells me you've got less bottom end torque on level 9, but a better mid range and top side than when you're running on level 7. This may be due to the following (from most likely to least likely, and possibly a combination) of the following:
1) The EZ stack. We've noticed on every single stack, even those that worked, that the bottom side smoke was increased. This is bad news, as too much smoke means a quenched fire, and power loss. Did you try a run without the EZ, and only the PowerMax?
2) The PowerMax 3 Comp is a little too aggressive on the bottom side for your truck with its tight converter and big tires. Again, too much fuel, and fire quench. We can cure this for sure and send the box back to TST for reprogramming.
3) You need glasses and the 9 looked like a 7 and vice versa.

Yer close on the math, but its the NEW math we need to work with.
You may need to leave the EZ hooked up and turn it to its least aggressive setting to control smoke on the Mach 4s. This isn't a bad thing, as you want that lower end power that the EZ delivers anyway. But Mach 4's DO need a good sized turbo, even running by themselves. We've got Mach 4's on KSB1B's and the temps will still get to 1400F with box off.

What order were those runs made in?

Re:DonM's EDM's
Stakeman,
The runs were in the order:
1) 13.21 TST on #9 Boost set at 51 psi
2) 13.16 TST on #7 Boost set at 51 psi
3) 13.28 TST on #9 Boost set at 45 psi
4) 13.19 TST on #7 Boost set on 45 psi
I was trying to find the best combination of TST settings and boost settings for running on the strip. I have an external wastegate with my KS B1B with a regulator and really found no difference in 45 psi and 51 psi at the track and I wasn't watching my temps down the strip. This was my first time running on a quarter mile track and it was the last Tuesday night test and tune night at Beech Bend Raceway (Bowling Green, KY). I was about to lower my boost to 42 psi on both TST settings and it started raining. I'm at an altitude of 500-850 ft. above sea level and the night temps were in the upper 50's. I hope this will help Stakeman.
