Does Fitch catalyst work?!

I want to know if anyone's had any experience with the fitch fuel catalyst. I've seen commercials and tv shows promoting it but haven't met anyone, to my knowledge, who actually has one. It sounds like a great product, almost too great to be true.

I talked talked around with a few members. They said it was about a 5-10% increase on a diesel. You'll have to decide if that's enough saving for the money.

I know on our old gasser with knock sensor we're able to get about 10-15% increase.

Here is a rather long thread about the Fitch Fuel Catalyst from Australia. Reading through it shows the Fitch to be snake oil. Actually snake oil would at least add some lubrication to the VP44.

And here is an article where several fuel saving products have been pulled from the market because of unsubstantiated claims. Fitch was not taken off the market but was forced to modify their claims. Any company that puffs up a claim of fuel savings or reduced emmisions is dishonest in my book.

You can choose for yourself.

think about it for a minute. In the quest for the best fuel economy from the OEM manufacturers if it was this easy Cummins, Cat, Chevy, Ford ect would have already done it. If all they had to do was put a little thing in the fuel line to raise the MPG's to "one-up" their competition it would have been done. The only proven ways are usually illegal, like programming. I'm sure Cummins knows that if they change the ECM programming a little the fuel economy improves but then it won't meet emmission standards.

2-stroke oil doesn't hurt anything, it adds lube to the fuel, which is a good thing. I recommend putting in about a qt. per tank, skipping a tank every now and agian. Always use a good TCW3.

As for mileage, nothing works as well and a tack in the right shoe.
