Disappointing Dyno

Well shoot. I guess I'm not allowed to join the 500hp club. I was for sure I was there but I guess I need more air. All I did with my setup was 462/1030. I was hitting 40psi on the dyno which is where I have it gated to on the street and levels 5-8 on the TST didn't make any difference in power and level 9 actually lost me 4hp. I had the smarty set on 3. I knew I shoulda installed that water/meth before hitting the dyno.

I gained 32 hp on the dyno from the water/meth. Still some good numbers. Some more tuning and you should have it!

Thats kinda wierd didn't you pull out around 490 corrected with the KSB-1 you had? Was it the same dyno? I'm going to be happy just to break 320hp next time!

BB, round it up to the nearest even mark, add a bit for the Texas fudge factor, and you have 510 HP!

I'm beginning to think that the mustang that I did 496 on was messed up although it's always dynoed right where I shoulda been power wise. I was on a dyno jet this time. Who knows. The truck runs freaking awesome on the street. It is choked up on the top end though. The curves look absolutely spectacular. Straight up and then flat across. Power levels 5-8 mirror themselves. I'll get the graph posted up here before to long.

1500*. I know this turbo is to small for my mods but I'm going twins hopefully by the end of the year so it won't be to big of an issue.

Is it best to make the dyno runs in 4th gear or 5th? Last time I went I ran in 4th and afterwards had several people tell me to run in 5th, but when I asked the dyno guy later he said on his Mustang Dyno to use 4th??? I want to get the best numbers possible and will only do 2 runs... (I'm toying with the idea of going later this week btw)

Mustangs I dyno in 3rd and dynojet's I dyno in OD. FWIW, a couple of my buddies with sticks (I'm sure they'll chime in) dynoed in 5th and 6th gear and 6th got less HP but more torque and 5th got more HP but less torque.
