Disable the Juice?

Sometimes at work I'm forced to allow some of our hired-men to drive my truck for a couple hours... I can't seem to find anything in the manual, but I'm trying to figure out how to run the Juice in stock mode without them being able to change it? Disable the option somehow...

Can you lock it?

What mode will it run in if I unhook the Attitude?

bryceepoo,

About all I know you can try is to call Edge, but I think you gonna find it isn't possible. Try them at 888-360-EDGE.

Ok, just for anyone that might care to know... I called Edge and here's what I learned.

The chip doesn't have a vallet mode or other feature to control user selection... But, if you unplug the Attitude monitor from the chip it will only operate in stock mode. So that's about the only way to keep someone from upping the settings while they drive your pickup.

Well duh, you put the Juice back on stock level, pop the hood, unplug the monitor from the Juice, hide both ends of the plug the best you can, and now no way to change settings.

I've already did it. I had my truck back at the stea!ership for A/C work about a week after I put my J/A in.

That being said, according to Edge, no matter what level you currently have selected, by simply unplugging the Attitude the whole chip will be bypassed and the truck will run soley by the stock ecu.

... DUH

I wish it just had a valet mode with a key you could put in... that would make life a lot easier.

Hey, I'm not the one that had to call Edge to figure that out.
