Did I get shafted on a clutch?

I bought a Con O clutch off of a guy on craigs list in Houston. We measured the disc and its only measuring stock at 12.25? From what Ive read on sites and other threads the Con O upgrades to a 13 inch disc. The clutch also has LUK stamped on it? Can someone gimme some insight here? Thanks a bunch y'all!

I bought two of them for my 5spd there were two sizes first time I had the smaller one wich does not require a fly wheel exchange or some one to drill and tap the holes in the old fly wheel the 2nd one was the larger and both of them were luk parts.

Sounds like you got a LUK.

If it were a South Bend it would have numbers engraved into it.

If you do find some numbers on it, call Peter at South Bend to see if he can decipher what you got.

How much did you give for it?

I'm pretty sure SBC uses LUK parts and just put thier own pads on them.

Its got a lot of pad left on it. He said it was used for 5,000 miles and then was taken out due to sellin his old truck. He was gonna put it in his 98 but got a dual disc instead. I will check into them stamped numbers tho. Y'all have helped alot! Thanks!

I dont remember ANY stamped numbers on my Dual Disc from SBC.
Just call Peter in the morning and see what he says. I usually call at night and leave a message for him and it seems he does his call backs before they open.

Yep, just like I said in my previous post. SBC uses LUK hard parts and puts thier own pads on them.
Haisley uses McLeod hard parts and EEP uses Mitchell hard parts.
