Denver Off-Road Bumper

Does anyone know how or where to order a Denver Off-Road winch bumper for my truck? Is there a website with any info? About how much do they cost? Is shipping something that big really a big deal? Thanks in advance.

There is no website to order a DOR bumper, however you can call Layne at (970) 464-5566. He will be happy to answer any questions you have. I just installed one of his bumpers last week and I can say that they are extremely well built.

The DOR is one of my favorite mods. I have had mine for about 5 years now with 160k miles on it. It still looks as good as the day I bought it. Layne is a great guy to deal with. His craftsmanship is excellent. Having been to his shop several times and seeing what goes into building one it is amazing. No wonder it takes a while to get one. As previous poster mentioned no website but give him a call for pricing and shipping info. Depends on the options you get. When he came out with the 3rd gen bumpers he started making a lower valance for them. I talked him into fabbing one up for my 2nd gen and it is a nice addition.

Lane is in Grand Jct now....so on your side of Colorado!
Crating/Shipping is a substantial cost. I would drive up there and pick it up...maybe even have him install it.

Nah, installing it is half the fun, especially with a 150# winch in it.

Everything said above, no website, just a phone, expect a wait as he takes pride in his work.

A bunch of us on here have them, myself included.
Pics can be found in my photo album.

Guessing a current ballpark, I'd say $1600 to $1700 plus shipping, which was around $150 2 years ago.

Here are pics of both the front and rear. I have had the lower valance powder coated since these pictures were taken. Layne did not have a coated one when I picked mine up.

Nice - but check out buckstop.biz for a set that really compliments the bodylines of your DODGE

Aha! Finally, it clicked - 19" wheels - what-who-where is the source of those, surely not GM (19" oem on the 3500HD lo-pro)?

Hey guys,
I was just looking those bumpers over. Nice! Do you know what material there made of and thickness? They would be very simple to make. If someone has dimensions and a material list I think there local welding shop would make them for a bunch less then $1600.00
I KNOW I PLAN TO BUILD ONE.

Topper,
The Denver Off Road Bumper...like my UTE Bull Bar...is made of 10mm (1/2") high strength Aluminum.... can't remember the #. About 40% less weight than steel counterparts and very stout!

Would not be hard, with the right equipmment to make one of steel....but Aluminum??

Here's mine:

Layne claims you can hang the truck from the bumper. I haven't verified that claim yet.
