Decals

Hey whats up? My thread on my new decals is gone. What happened? was it wrong to post it? What gives. I got stopped in Kingston New York today by a Kingston city cop. I thought it was because of my straight pipes but no, he wanted to know where to get the new decal? He'll have his on Friday!

My guess is you were offering to sell them, or others were trying to buy them.

No buying or selling in the forums, that's why we have the classifieds.

You are not on the bad list....it was removed because it slipped off into "selling" on the site which is against the rules here. No big deal really, you just can't make reference to selling them here.

Actually it was the other guys who were leading you astray, they were the ones suggesting you sell them here. That is what happens when you run with the bad seeds of the Internet Besides with a name like "topper" I couldn't stay mad at you long

Thanks for the explanation. I appreciate it very much! I did stick an ad on the classified section.
Thanks again,

There is no ad in the classifieds for these. Our classifieds are for members to sell their used stuff when upgrading or cleaning out the garage. It is not intended for someone to use as an online store.

is it ok to offer to purchase a product someone has shown on here through PM's??? say instead of guys posting in the forums that they would like to purchase a product, could they just mention that they liked the product in the forums & then inquire about a purchase through the PM's?????? just curious & thanks alot, Dusty

Dusty that is fine. What we don't allow though is anyone spamming people via PM in an attempt to sell something or gather members for they're website...etc. Members here should NEVER receive unsolicited SPAM via PM's.

If you send the first PM asking about the product, all is good to go
