6 to 100?

6 to 100?
can i grind my tst 6 plate to a 100? it looks like the bottom profile of my plate curves up at the front (where the hook is on the 100s)...but all 100s i've seen have a flat bottom. i should have taken some pics 
but does anybody see what im asking?
