Cowl hoods

Does anyone use a cowl induction hood, and if so how does it work with our diesels? They look good but does it have any functionality to it? Found one by REFLEXXION looks good but no info on funtionality, any input would be welcomed.

Justin, is that a reflexxion hood? not sure how many companies make 'em now. I have seen several around NorCal including Ford and Dodge, they all look factory for fit and finish.

I am going to be putting one on my truck though. A custom job by me soon, I think I am going to get a 3.5 inch and mold it on my stock hood.

The place to look is called Good Hoods (or is it Hoodz?) Either way, the name sounds cheesy, but the product is nothing short of BAAADDD!!!! You will like their setup, and they even have a forced air induction channel which pushes the air in your intake. This can really boost performance and cool your engine at the same time.

The REFLEXXION hood is a functional hood I am going to make a ScottyII type filter holder for a custom built filter for my twins. I will pickup air from the stock fender opening, the 4" hole from a former ScottyII and a 4" feed from the hood.

If you want a functional one (not sure about the others but this one definitely is). If I recall correctly the maker is Doug Holfeldt in Idaho. AirBulldog Hoods
