Diesel Mall has the Reflexxion Steel cowl hood for $405.00. Here's the link:

Why do people keep putting steel hoods on? I'd rather have a fiberglass one. It's a lot lighter than the factory hood.

I know this is probably gay, but I saw someone with the "stick on" jimmies on his hood and they looked pretty cool. You can tell from 50 feet back that they are totally non-functional, but they really made it look aggressive.

The steel hoods normally can just be prepped, painted and installed. A fibergalss hood normally takes a lot more time to get them to fit and look as nice as steel. I had a reflexxion hood on another truck and it looked awsome.

I've always wanted to buy the lund hood scoops and cut holes in the hood to make them functional. I figured do some duct work to breathe some cool air on the BHAF would help... Just don't have the heart to cut holes in my hood yet!

I bought a reflexxion steel hood from a local body shop for less then 400 bucks, it looks great, the steel is quick to prep and holds up in the cold....for you texans you can save the 11 pounds, I have not seen the the hot side of the freezing mark in over a month and with the ranch hand up front why try to save any weight

I had a fiberglass hood on a mustang and it was a mother to prep and always looked somewhat wavy, was never a smooth look like steel. It was tons lighter but it didn't look as clean. Plus a couple good hits from rocks and they will sometimes spider on you!!
