FASS system has been working great so far. First question...it is normal for some oil to come out the weep hole in the bottom of the pump itself, right? I'm assuming its just some assembly oil from the factory. There wasn't an over abundance of it, and it didn't smell like fuel. Second...today I stopped at an atm machine and left the truck running. When I slammed the door shut after getting out, I could hear the sound of the FASS pump change pitch, and it went back and forth a few times between this new sound and its normal sound ( I think I have one of the noisy pumps by the way, not that that bothers me). So I grabbed hold of the side of the bed and rocked the truck back and forth and I could get it to do it again. Don't know if it was sucking air or not (I know, I really need to get a fp gauge). I do have a vulcan draw straw installed, but I had 1/2 a tank when this happened, and I've run it as lot as just below 1/8" with no problems. I was also parked on level ground when this happened. Made a couple other stops on the way home, left it running, and couldn't get it to act up again.

 

anyone? I gotta get a IP soon, and don't wanna be having problems with my FASS system when I put the new one on.
