Question controllers, modules, confused

What is the difference in controllers and modules.I want to put one in my truck. It is mainly used for towing and i would like a little better fuel milage.I would like to have one to adjust on the fly and can be used as a code scanner. Any suggestions, Edge , smarty quadzilla,

To the best of my knowledge the smarty isnt adjustable on the fly, you have to upload to the ECM.

Adjustable on the fly, best bet would be the comp.. You can play with it until you get a good comforatable level of power/minimal smoke for daily driving and crank it up when you feel like mashing it.

Comp won't read codes, maybe the Juice W/ attitude?

Smarty has the code reader but no on the fly adjustment. The levels on the smarty change its sensitivity to throttle input, but not much on the overall power, as opposed to the 30-45-60 hp type selections found on most boxes.

My vote still goes for the smarty
