what makes the smarty a better computer than the others?
thinking of doing a few mods and am curious

 

Its the dymanic timing of the smarty that makes it stand out. The smarty uses its dynamic timing to bring the boost in quickly which in turn brings more fuel in. The results are the engine wants to rev and the turbo wants to spool. The smarty will eliminate all defueling and let you rev freely past red line like the upgraded competition level boxes do. That and good mileage to boot, whats not to like?

Most boxes piggyback on the ecm and alter the signal, while the smarty would actually change the ecm program itself. Now some boxes will go beyond this and hook directly to the injection pump and can make 100+ hp on top, but nothing pulls like a smarty down low =P

 

what type of changes should i expect to see? hp/etc.

 

60 hp and smoke if you get into it too fast
