Comp HELP

well i installed my comp today and tapped into the pump. but im scared i might have done the wrong wire because the instructions were kind of hard to understand and the picture did no good either. anyways, level 1 seems to be the same as level 5. it has a good punch to it now, but all the different levels seem to be the same power. could tapping the wrong wire do this or what could be wrong?

Yes, if the power levels are the same from 1-5 then there's a very good chance you tapped the wrong wire. YOu want the upper wire closest to the block. It's clear in the TST instructions here:

Try checking your connection on the map sensor. If that don't do it, run your ground wire to the battery.

tried all that. It still seems to only have one power level. do you think it could possibly be the box messed up?

That doesn't necessarily mean much...

Edge's electronic reliability is just so-so, unfortunately.

Edge has been having some issues with Version 8.0, what version is yours? Check the label on the bottom of the box. You should be able to send it in and have it updated for free. I have heard of some issues with the new 10.8 version unfortunately, specifically the cold start problem.
