have any of u with the comp box ever have it freeze up while u are driving where it wont adjust or turn off or even work til u restart it. and also the past couple days the red lights on it would dim and act like it wasnt getting power or something and then i would tap the box and it would light rite up then. does this mean there is a loose wire inside the box? thanks, any input wanted!!!

 

Sounds like a bad connection at the plg in on the back of the Comp or posibly a bad ground on the actal harness. Where did you run your ground wire??

 

mine after leaving key in on postion at sonic for 20 mins. froze up kinda. only the last light was lit and it was in stock mode. killed and recranked and it was fine.

i think somethin is wrong with my truck or the chip itself cause i drove a buddys truck with just an edge ez on it and his would spank mine with the comp on highest level- currently investigating this- any ideas anyone

 

make sure the ground is in perfect condition. i grounded my comp to the driver's side fender (same screw as an existing lead to the battery negative terminal). that fixed some gremlins with my comp.
