A bigger turbo will be the only effective way of lowering your EGT's enough It will cost some money, but choose the right one,and it will be sweet.

You could try different intakes like the BHAF or Scotty and a wastegated 14cm housing if you don't want to buy a turbo

I see you already have the BHAF, you could try a hx35/40 hybrid or a small s-300/B1 from HTT, BD, Industrial injection or Piers

sounds like I better start saving my money.

I bought my comp drag from Industrial Injection. I guess I will be talking to them to see what they have that will work best for me.

Is a new turbo the only way to lower EGT's or is there a cheaper fix in the mean time?

What does HTT stand for?? I want to look them up

How mush boost you seeing? I don't see mentioned in your sig if you turnbuckled your wastegate or not. If you're using the stock turbo (HY9) and are not turnbuckled, you're blowing off alot of extra boost you could be using to cool EGT's down some. Just a thought.

36 psi is all your gonna effectively get out of your turbo. It's time to step up to something around an HX40 size.

Don't see why not. It is going to be laggier than your factory turbo but it shouldn't be to bad.

Good Towing turbo....
You can also look at one of the HTT upgrades...you can make your current turbo a 35.. with a hx40 compressor wheel, and housing.. for about 200.... Good Luck,
Bryan
