Comp connector adapters

I bought a comp that turned out to be for a 2002. The MAP and datalink connectors are wrong for my 98.5. Is there an adapter for the round MAP to flat MAP connector? What about the 2 to 3 prong data link?

Thanks

I'm not for sure, but I called edge and ask them the same question and they said you have to have a different wiring harness and there wasn't an adaptor.

I thought the earlier ones had different values on the plugins and won't cross over. 98 threw 00 and then 01 and 02 are together.

They dont offer an adapter to swap on 02 to a 98.5-00.
The adapters are for 02 to 01 swaps or vice versa.

Correct. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I beileve that the 98.5-00 had something different in the computer programs and a box for an 01-02 won't work. Therefore there is no adapter because of the different programing.

There is one adapter that is available.
It converts the triangilar plug to a three port flat connector. Mine is an 00, so I think it adapts 98.5 and 99 to 00-01.

I'm still thinking the break is at 2000,they won't interchange. I know 01 and 02 will with a adapter plug but not back past 01.

Thanks Everyone........ Yes the 01/02 adapter is common (standard?) came with the comp I bought anyway. But as others here have pointed out the 98.5 had a round plug with triangular connections. I don't know what the 99 has but it is all academic now as I sold the comp this weekend. Time to start looking for another box......

Thanks for the good info
