Arrow Comp box reliability

Do the comp boxes harm the vp44? Can I dial up a black cloud if I want? Having a stock tranny what settings are too much power? Can I use more of it on the highway? I know a lot of people run this and I just want to know how it is. Thanks Tm

I'm not the resident expert, but I do have a Comp, and I did just have it "fixed" and upgraded to "Drag"...

Harm Directly, NO. Cause more strain leading to POSSIBLE earlier failure, YES.

Yes.

3x3 I think (From what I've Read) is about Max on stock Auto.

Yes.

It's Smokin'!

with the comp you will find out just what kind of shape your trans is in, Mine could not handle it and started to slip on 3x3 you should not get any black smoke on 3x3 but should notice a differnce in how the boost come on. I would start low and drive it for a few then raise it up a bit.
