Cold Air systems

Looking at installing a cold air system on my 2001 Dodge Diesel, but there are quite a few out their. Which one is the best and for the money? And will it really make a difference?

I have an afe, I am happy with it. Never used any other after-market set-ups though. Sounds a lot healthier as well as running a touch cooler.

It will make a difference in exhaust temps if your truck is modified, i.e. programmer, injectors, etc. I recommend the AFE intake kits, PG7 if you have a dirt/gravel driveway, go off-road, etc.

I have the AFE stg 2, the oil one and i LOVE it. with the silencer ring MIA It will sound like a jet!!! I love it and everyone runs it here. My other friend has the K&N cold air and he loves it too, i believe the k&n is a little cheaper tho, his whistles as well.

Ive used a K+N and wasnt happy with it. I drive in dusty conditions and i could never keep it clean. I swithed it up to the BHAF and never been happier with it.
