chips vs injectors
Try injectors with your EZ before you try stacking chips. The only electronics that would net you more power than the EZ would void the warranty on your injection pump which you said you wanted to avoid.
well the EZ does not void warrenty as i got warrenty on the last pump. I could tapp the pump but i didnt know if i will need to. It has a new bd max flow lift pump and new injection pump, afe intake, 4" exaust system 4.5" skyjacker lift with 35s and im in the middle of getting either a dtt or a nadp transmission to handle 450-500hp. This truck is my daily driver. I already have the EZ but no gauges so theres a cost there. I should just get the a chip with built in gauges. Im in BC canada so we are a little higher i think. I would be happy around 425-475hp. so if this is my target then would the smaller injectors and bigger chip be the right combo? the injtors i would be getting owuld be from dtt. i will also be towing 7500-10000lb a few times a year. THANKS
Just for the sake of clarifying information. Any change to the engine that alters the emission system, ie injectors, boxes, programmers, turbos, ect that are not factory replacement pieces DOES void the manufacturers warranty.
I understand that some dealers will still honor warranties, but the vast majority of the readership here may and probably will have any remaining warranty void with such modifications.
