check out the breathers

hows this for adequate crankcase ventilation?? Looks kinda neat as well.........I worked for 10 hours smoothing the cast covers/intake just to get them to a 240 grit brushed look. Lots of pitting in the virgin cast cover. Anyway, appears to be working well.

Nice! I noticed today at IRP that BigBadDodge is running 4 of those on his front breathers, but none on the rear. Is there an advantage to having the breathers versus not havinbg them?

I noticed after fueling harder that I was leaving oil all over the ground, axles and everything else underneath from the added boost. I am hoping to vent some of that excess blowby up and out. 6 breathers should spread the pressure out so as not to blow oil out the breathers...we'll see. Just got em on today. The rear two fit fine under the cowl....though I took the sound barrier out becasue it was falling apart anyway and everytime I brushed against it while in the valve cover, dirt came falling down into the head!! Not anymore......the noise don't bother me anyway.

Are they just a push in type breather? They really look sweet!! I have the same oil issue at 40# boost. I will have to tackle that next..

thanks...yes...$14 from summit. They are the rubber base style...no grommet, just a 1 1/4" hole.
